Profile:
Prior to his return appointment as Associate Coach with the Ottawa Junior “A” Senators, Martin was the Head Coach and General Manager of the CCHL Hawkesbury Hawks for two years. Martin got his first taste of CCHL action when he served as an Assistant Coach with the OJS during the 2008-2009 campaign. Before arriving to the CCHL, Martin coached the Ottawa Valley Titans to the AAA ODHA Midget Championship during the 2007-2008 season. His team also won bronze at the Provincials, and then competed at the Telus National Championship.

A High School teacher, Martin coordinates the Sport-Exploratoires program at Louis-Riel Public High School. He led the High School hockey team to a provincial championship in both 2009 and 2011.

Martin, who has been coaching since he was 18 years old, was born in Marionville and currently resides in Embrun.
